Elsevier Canada congratulates the winner of the 2010 Personal Support Worker of the Year Award from the Personal Support Network of Ontario.

Personal support workers play an indispensable role in the lives of their clients, patients, and residents. These extraordinary individauls daily bring compassion to their caregiving and dignity to their clients' and patients' lives. One PSW who demonstrates this exceptional care is Marlene Magashazi, the winner of the PSNO's 2010 PSW of the Year Award.

Elsevier Canada is proud to support this award and to encourage excellence in support worker training across the country.

Conference Sponsorship
Sponsorships are an integral part of Elsevier Canada's marketing and promotional activities. As the world's leading publisher of health information material, Elsevier is proud to contribute to the advancement of the medical, nursing, and healthcare professions. We believe that investing in conferences that help students, educators, and practitioners increase their effectiveness is one way of contributing to the advancement of health communities.

Currently, our sponsorships are centred primarily on nursing education conferences at the national level and are offered to both student and professional associations.

Proposals in other areas of health science education are evaluated on their capacity to support strategic priorities of Elsevier Canada. Traditionally, we do not sponsor individuals.
